American DayDream Alpacas is focused on breeding and raising huacaya alpacas with excellent conformation and superior fleece, to be used to create high-quality yarns and apparel.  American DayDream Alpacas conforms to general breed standards within the alpaca industry.  We strive to produce alpacas having high-quality fleece, excellent conformation, and of uniform color.  Breeding alpacas has given us a chance to have a quieter lifestyle with retirement investment possibilities.

American DayDream Alpacas is committed to the future of the alpaca industry because we see the industry evolving into a fiber market. Scarcity or rarity is the primary determinant in defining a specialty fiber. Alpaca fleece is valuable because it combines so many positive, commercial attributes into one fiber. We have not discovered any negative characteristics attributed to alpaca fleece.
